(Bismarck, ND) — The USDA is announcing just over one-point-five billion dollars in clean energy funding for North Dakota. The funding was awarded through the Empowering Rural America program. It will be used for things like job support, lower electricity costs, and reduced climate pollution. According to the USDA, these projects will create good-paying jobs, lower energy costs for rural communities, and reduce pollution.
