(Fargo, ND) — Forecasters are predicting wind chills of 50-below-zero in parts of North Dakota on Monday. KFYR says an extreme cold event is coming to North Dakota this weekend, creating wind chills of 30- to 40-degrees below zero on Sunday and Monday morning. They predict the coldest wind chills will be in the north, and that cities like Minot and Bottineau could see wind-chill temperatures of 50-below. Residents are reminded that in these conditions, frostbite can set in as little as 10 minutes.
