(Brookings, SD) — South Dakota company Daktronics is moving forward with a possible change to its legal jurisdiction. The company announced it’s taking steps to incorporate in the state of Delaware. If the move is approved by shareholders, Delaware would be considered the new home state of Daktronics. However, according to the company’s news release, the change does not have an impact on Daktronics’ business operations in South Dakota. That includes the Brookings corporate headquarters, along with several other important departments. And a majority of employees will be staying local.
