(West Fargo, ND) — A local man is behind bars and his vehicle is locked up in impound following Monday’s late-night police pursuit in West Fargo. Authorities say officers attempted to pull over 23-year-old Elijah Hunter Belgarde on an open warrant last night around 11:30 p.m. at 3rd Avenue East and 5th Street East. Belgarde allegedly tried to flee toward 10th Street East before he lost control and hit several parked vehicles. He was arrested and charged with felony fleeing in a motor vehicle, felony reckless endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with an unspecified existing warrant. His vehicle was seized. No injuries were reported.
