(Daytona Beach, FL) — The Daytona 500 is set for Sunday. It’s the first official race of the 2025 NASCAR season and President Trump is expected to make an appearance. The White House has yet to confirm plans, but Trump has a history with NASCAR and served as the Daytona 500’s grand marshal in 2020. Grammy-winning artist Pitbull will perform before the start of the event. The green flag waves for the Daytona 500 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday.
