(Zimmerman, MN) — A Zimmerman woman is accused of running an illegal gambling scheme through her Facebook account. Betsy Morine is charged with selling or possessing unstamped gambling materials and four counts related to maintaining a gambling operation, participating in gambling income, conducting a lottery, and collecting proceeds from illegal gambling activities. Authorities say she was a part of 29 live streams of various gambling activities, such as pull tabs and bingo. If convicted, Morine could serve up to five years in prison and face a ten thousand dollar fine.
