cold

(Undated) — Frigid temperatures are set to impact millions across the country this week. The polar vortex will send temperatures down 30 to 40 degrees lower than normal average for this time of the year. The north-central part of the country will get the worst of the cold, with wind chills as low as minus-60 degrees in parts of Montana, Minnesota and the Dakotas. Extreme Cold Warnings are in place for over 58 million people from the U.S.-Canada border to Texas. By Wednesday, cities in the Plains like Kansas City could see temperatures below zero.
