(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Armstrong is waiving hours of service requirements for propane haulers during the current cold snap. He signed an executive order yesterday that affects drivers of commercial vehicles that are transporting propane and other petroleum products. The severe weather in the state coupled with increased heating fuel demands have resulted in low inventories of propane supplies. The governor’s order states the lack of adequate heating fuel poses an immediate risk to public health, safety and welfare.
