(Santa Fe, NM) — A South Dakota man accused of stabbing a woman at a New Mexico hotel has been released from jail. Authorities say 69-year-old Dennis Wheeler is charged with aggravated battery after allegedly stabbing a woman in the hand at the Eldorado Hotel and Spa in Santa Fe over the weekend. He was released Tuesday from the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
