Jamestown Man Pleads Guilty To Bismarck Hit-And-Run

(Bismarck, ND) — A Jamestown man is pleading guilty to a Bismarck hit-and-run. Bismarck police say 26-year-old Michael Meier hit two people on a motorcycle with his car in May of 2023 and fled the scene. Police say Meier didn’t make any attempts to contact law enforcement, and the two people on the motorcycle were taken to the ER and treated for injuries. This week, Meier pleaded guilty to a felony charge and was sentenced to five years in prison. He will be eligible for probation after one year.
