(Bismarck, ND) — A bill that would raise the state gas tax is moving on to the Senate. The North Dakota House approved a measure yesterday that would increase the gas tax by three percent. The proposed tax hike would create a fund for roads and bridges in non-oil-producing counties. The bill will need to be passed by the Senate and signed by Governor Armstrong to become law.
