(Bismarck, ND) — Hunting and fishing license fees may be going up in North Dakota. House lawmakers approved a bill this week that would raise fees to 20 dollars for a small game license and 35 dollars for a big game license. The bill would also raise a fishing license fee to 25 dollars, and increase the cost of a boat license. Supporters of the bill say the money will be used to pay for conservation in the state. Representative Todd Porter says it would be the first fee increase since 2015.
