(Pierre, SD) — The House vote on the bill deciding whether to start building a new men’s prison or not is now a tie. Republican Representative Tim Reisch was excused from Friday’s original vote, but says he is making a ‘yes’ vote today. The vote for House Bill 10-25 failed 34-35 Friday. There was a motion to reconsider the bill on the next legislative day, which will be today.
