(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is suing the Bureau of Land Management. Attorney General Drew Wrigley claims the BLM made changes to the state’s Resource Management Plan, which restrict the development of oil and gas resources. Wrigley says the BLM finalized amendments to North Dakota’s RMP during the final week of the Biden administration. U.S. Interior Secretary and former North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is named as one of the defendants in the lawsuit.
