The South Dakota Legislature will tackle a full slate

The South Dakota Legislature continues its work today with a packed schedule of news conferences, committee hearings and floor sessions.

Governor Larry Rhoden will announce next steps for a new prison during his 10:30 press conference.

Lawmakers will consider several significant bills throughout the day, including airport terminal grants, Medicaid expansion, and congressional term limits.

Committee hearings begin at 7:45 a.m., with House and Senate floor sessions starting at 1 p.m.
