Man Facing Several Charges After Violent Chase

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A convicted felon is back in jail for allegedly leading the Highway Patrol on a high-speed chase in Sioux Falls and shooting an Uzi at a trooper. Authorities say 65-year-old David Yocom from Sioux Falls was arrested early yesterday and booked into the Minnehaha County Jail. He’s now facing multiple charges, including facing multiple charges, including eluding, shooting a gun from a car in city limits, and aggravated assault on law enforcement. Yocom is also accused of illegally having a machine gun and being in possession of meth.
