Update: Former Gov. Noem’s State Credit Card Spending

(Pierre, SD) — More details are surfacing now that public records from former South Dakota Governor Noem’s state credit card spending are being made available. Documents have been revealed from Noem’s credit card statements over the past six years during her term. KELO Land News reports the final three statements from November, December and January of 2025 had balances adding up to more than 75-thousand dollars. The most expensive was in December when the bill totaled more than 29-thousand. During that three-month period, South Dakota taxpayers paid for hotel rooms and rental cars in several states, including multiple trips to Florida and Washington, D.C. When Noem traveled, the state also had to paid for her security which significantly increased the costs of these trips.
