(Mandan, ND) — The North Dakota Supreme Court has denied a petition by Greenpeace to move its trial against Energy Transfer out of Morton County. Greenpeace lawyers argued the jury would be unable to deliver a fair verdict since so many Morton County residents were affected by the demonstrations over the Dakota Access Pipeline. Energy Transfer attorneys disagreed and said Morton County residents would not be biased. The Supreme Court gave no reason for its ruling.
