(Bismarck, ND) — A Democratic state senator is pushing for a special hearing on the impact of federal job cuts in North Dakota. District 11 Senator Tim Mathern made the suggestion during yesterday’s meeting of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Mathern wants to gather information regarding anticipated federal cuts that will impact North Dakota agencies and citizens.
