(Sioux Falls, SD) — March Madness is heating up in Sioux Falls with the Summit League basketball tournament. The South Dakota women’s teams jumped into action yesterday for the quarterfinals. Top-seeded SDSU rolled past Number Eight Omaha with a big 87-67 win. Five different players scored in double figures. However, the seventh-seeded USD Coyotes have stumbled out of the tournament early after dropping their game, 70-50, against Number Two Oral Roberts. The Jackrabbits will take on the winner of today’s quarterfinal matchup between Number Four St. Thomas and Number Five North Dakota in Saturday’s first semifinal game at the Denny Sanford Premier Center scheduled for noon.
