SDSU Women’s Basketball Summit League Three-Peat

(Sioux Falls, SD) — South Dakota State women’s basketball are the Summit League conference champions for the third year in a row. The top-seeded Jackrabbits took down Number Two Oral Roberts, 84-68, yesterday afternoon at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Senior guard Paige Meyer earned her second straight Tournament MVP. SDSU’s title victory caps off an undefeated season in Summit League play and continues what is now an impressive 19-game win streak. It also marks the 12th tournament title in program history. The Jackrabbits will find out their seeding for this year’s NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday, which is at 7 p.m. on the 16th.
