(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man is dead after a fight over the weekend in central Sioux Falls. It’s now turned into the city’s second homicide investigation of the year as police try to find out who killed 24-year-old Jacob Gallman Ringing Shield. He was found with a severe head injury on East 8th Street on Saturday evening near the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House. The man was then taken to the hospital where he later died. Sioux Falls Police has not identified a suspect at this time but say there is no danger to the public. Police are asking anyone who knows anything about the fight to contact them as investigators continue to check surveillance video in the area.
