(Scotland, SD) — Authorities are identifying the man whose body was discovered in Bon Homme County on Tuesday. He was confirmed to be 85-year-old George Verzani of Scotland. That’s according to yesterday’s update from the Attorney General’s Office and South Dakota DCI. Authorities say Verzani was seen in surveillance footage walking through downtown Scotland early Tuesday morning. An autopsy determined he likely died from exposure to the cold.
