(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota lawmakers are weighing a bill to overturn the federal same-sex marriage ruling. House Resolution 3013 asks for the definition of marriage to revert to between a man and a woman. The resolution calls the 2015 federal decision that legalized marriage for same-sex couples unjust. The House passed the proposal last month and the Senate’s decision will decide if it advances to the U.S. Supreme Court.
