Feeding Our Future Nonprofit Leaders Found Guilty In Massive Fraud Case

(Minneapolis, MN) — The leaders of a Minnesota nonprofit have been found guilty of defrauding the government of 240-million dollars in federal food aid. Co-defendants Aimee Bock and Salim Said of Feeding Our Future were found guilty on Wednesday of billing the government for millions of dollars from the Federal Child Nutrition Program for nearly 100-million bogus meals. The New York Times says when Bock was first charged in 2022, her scheme was the largest known fraud against the government’s COVID-19 relief programs. Both Bock and Said are facing prison time on wire fraud, bribery and money laundering.
