(Sturgis, SD) — South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson is honoring local Vietnam Veterans. He held a ceremony at the Veterans Club in Sturgis yesterday for vets who served any time between 1955 and 1975. Several veterans were each given time to share their experiences in the military at the ceremony. Congressman Johnson believes they deserve the recognition after being mistreated through the 1960s and 70s. Each veteran honored yesterday received a pin and was applauded by those in attendance.
