Governor Armstrong Vetoes Tax Credit Bill

(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Kelly Armstrong is vetoing his first bill of the current legislative session. The tax credit proposal offers North Dakota businesses that utilize Roughrider Industries up to a 45-thousand-dollar credit. Governor Armstrong said it would create an unfair competitive advantage over out-of-state manufacturers for the group. The bill will go back to the state Senate for consideration.
