(Grand Forks, ND) — Prosecutors are resting their case in the Nicole Rice murder trial. Rice faces a Class AA murder charge for allegedly killing her former roommate Anita Knutson nearly 17 years ago, carrying a maximum penalty of life in prison without parole. Rice’s defense team is expected to start calling witnesses this week.
