Rapid City police are investigating an unattended death after a body was found early Monday morning underneath the I-190 bridge.
Officers responded around 8 a.m. to reports of an unconscious male in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered the man was dead.
Authorities say they noticed suspicious conditions at the scene and have since brought in the Criminal Investigation Division to collect evidence and speak with witnesses.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the investigation is ongoing.
