(Bismarck, ND) — Federal funding for the American Rescue Plan Act will end sooner than expected. North Dakota Health and Human Services was notified that pandemic-era funding for behavioral health services has ended effective immediately. The ARPA funding was initially set to expire in September. All providers that could be affected have been notified, as the NDHHS is working on funding alternatives for behavioral health, public health initiatives, and supportive services.
