(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild shook off a slow start during a 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals at the Xcel Energy Center. The Caps led by a goal entering the second period before Freddy Gaudreau and Matt Boldy both lit the lamp. Gaudreau added an empty-netter in the third period to put the game on ice. The Wild are in fourth place in the Central Division with 87 points. They host the Devils tomorrow.
