(Watford City, ND) — A McKenzie County Sheriff’s Deputy is on administrative leave after a Waterford City man died. Deputies responded to a domestic call on the city’s southside Monday night. A male suspect was shot on the scene and was taken to the McKenzie County Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The deputy was placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues.
