(Indianapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Golden Gophers Woman’s basketball team captured a postseason championship in the WBIT. The lady Gophers beat Belmont 75-63 yesterday in Indianapolis. Minnesota started the game on an 11 to two run and never looked back. This was the second year in a row the team reached a final in the postseason as they lost last year in the WNIT.
