(Rapid City, SD) — A Rapid City man is in custody and being charged with stabbing another man to death in a city street this week. Diontae Eagleman now faces charges of first-degree murder for the alleged homicide Tuesday. It happened on Sixth Street around 7 p.m. that night. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. The 22-year-old Eagleman is currently being held in the Pennington County Jail without bond. He had his initial appearance in court yesterday morning. The victim’s name has not yet been released until authorities can find the next of kin.
