(Grand Forks, ND) — A New Rockford man is pleading guilty to criminal charges after trying to flee from Grand Forks County authorities. Kyle Maez-Schaack will spend four years in prison for three separate felonies and two misdemeanors related to a May 2024 incident. The 32-year-old attempted to flee from police during a routine traffic stop that led to a crash with a parked vehicle. Maez-Schaack had 30 prior arrests on his record before his recent conviction.
