(Minot, ND) — Officials want to combat healthcare worker shortages in the Minot region. Representatives of multiple institutions believe converting the Trinity Health West building in the downtown area to a Health Sciences Institute could help combat the issue. The idea is to construct a training center for nursing and allied health programs. Approval for the project by the 2025 Legislature could see the institute operating within one to two years.
