(Bismarck, ND) — State lawmakers want to create a special task force for missing persons. The North Dakota Senate approved a proposal to develop a 10-person group that focuses on improving search efforts for missing Indigenous individuals on reservations. The task force would include state officials and a member from each of the five tribes within the state. The proposal will go back to the state House for approval.
