Voteing across the Black Hills

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Voters across the Black Hills will head to the polls Tuesday to elect local leaders in city and school government.

In Rapid City, five contested races are on the ballot — including three City Council seats and two school board positions.

Spearfish voters will choose a mayor and representatives for three city council wards, with voting at the Senior Citizen’s Center.

Sturgis, Lead, Deadwood, Belle Fourche, and Whitewood also have council or mayoral elections.

Polls across the region will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. You can find your city’s polling location on local election websites.
