Arrests Made After Eagle Butte Bank Robbery

(Eagle Butte, SD) — Authorities on the Cheyenne River Reservation say two men have been arrested after robbing a bank in Eagle Butte. Officers were called to the Black Hills Federal Credit Union just after 11 a.m. yesterday. Witnesses described the men to be wearing masks and armed with handguns. Authorities were told that the two suspects fled in a black SUV. Officers then pursued the men for over 30 miles, who reached speeds of more than 120 miles an hour, before they were stopped and arrested without any further struggle. No one was hurt, but the robbery is still under investigation.
