Twins Fall To Royals on Tuesday

(Kansas City, MO) — The Minnesota Twins gave up a go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth during a 2-1 loss to the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday. The game was tied 1-1 entering the frame before Griffin Jax allowed an RBI ground out to Vinnie Pasquantino. Jax was charged with the loss in relief after Pablo Lopez left the game in the fifth inning with a hamstring injury. The Twins dropped to 3-and-8. They send Joe Ryan to the mound against the Royals tonight.
