(Kansas City, MO) — Joe Ryan tossed a gem as the Minnesota Twins beat the Kansas City Royals 4-0 at Kauffman Stadium. Ryan earned his first win after holding Kansas City to two hits over seven scoreless innings. Ty France went three-for-four with a home run and two RBI, while Matt Wallner also went deep. The Twins snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 4-and-8. Bailey Ober starts for Minnesota against Kansas City this afternoon.
