NDFB Announces 2025 Scholarship Winners

Bismarck, N.D. – The NDFB Promotion and Education Committee is excited to announce the 20 individuals who have been awarded $1,000 scholarships through the NDFB Foundation. The money is raised through a live auction at the NDFB Annual Meeting, held in November. Auction items are donated by county Farm Bureaus and volunteers.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the NDFB Foundation, along with the county Farm Bureaus and members, for making these scholarships a reality,” said Joey Bailey, NDFB Director of Organizational Development. “It’s truly rewarding to support students as they work toward their educational goals.”

The Becki Palmer Scholarship is for high school seniors and honors an NDFB employee who lost her battle with cancer in 2006. The winners are:
– Abigail Hardersen of Killdeer, ND

– Hannah Myrdal of Edinburg, ND

– Julie Sarsland of Rhame, ND

– Alyssa Martian of Bowman, ND

– Makayla Wall of Sheldon, ND

– Rose Schiele of Balfour, ND

– Braden Bailey of Towner, ND

 

The NDFB Agriculture Scholarship is for an undergraduate student majoring in agriculture who has completed or will be completing their freshman year of post-secondary school. The winners are:
– Carly Moore of Gillette, WY

 Ty McDonald of Bismarck, ND

– John Kaldor of Hillsboro, ND

– Dillon Bowman of Rhame, ND

– Sydney Ellingson of Prairie City, SD

The NDFB Family Membership Scholarship is awarded to a current Farm Bureau member or family member who has or will have completed their freshman year of college. The winner is:
– Evan Olson of Forbes, ND

– Taelyn Dunnigan of Walhalla, ND

– Teegan Erbele of Lehr, ND

– Grace Olin of New Salem, ND

The Future of Agriculture Scholarship is for students graduating high school this spring who are enrolled in an agriculture college. The winners are:
– Kacee Wasem of Halliday, ND

– Marcus Mathias of Stirum, ND

– Shay Burian of Manning, ND

– Addison Uglem of Northwood, ND
