(Grand Forks, ND) — A Minnesota man won’t be convicted of drug charges in Grand Forks County. Jeremy Aaron Tostrup was charged in February 2024 with Class A felony possession of at least 50 grams of meth with intent to deliver after a traffic stop turned up the drugs. However, the judge overseeing the case granted a motion to suppress the evidence after the defense argued the events leading to the discovery of the methamphetamine violated the defendant’s Fourth Amendment right. The motion to suppress led to Tostrup’s charge being dismissed.
