(Vermillion, SD) — University of South Dakota is responding to a social media post rumoring ICE agents to be on campus and student Visas being revoked. The initial post came from a student organization at USD. The school has since released official guidance on interacting with law enforcement for faculty and staff. However, USD officials say they have not had any recent federal presence on campus. USD is still instructing in any possible event to cooperate but first ask if campus law enforcement or general counsel can be contacted for support in complying with the request.
