Arrest Update After Man Stabbed In Rapid City Fight Tuesday Night

(Rapid City, SD) — A man is still in the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed during a fight in Rapid City Tuesday night. Police have now revealed 31-year-old Jacob Sharp of Rapid City was arrested for attempted murder in the stabbing after a fight between the two men. Officers were called to 12th Street just before 7 p.m. when the fight was reported. According to police, the disturbance began in a home and turned into a physical fight that progressed outside and onto the roadway. Sharp is expected to make his initial court appearance tomorrow morning and is currently being held without bond in the Pennington County Jail. The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
