(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota students could soon have educational savings accounts. The state legislature sent a bill to the governor’s desk that creates a state-funded account for certain private school students to help with tuition, textbooks, and other education-related expenses. The amount each student receives will vary between eleven-hundred to four-thousand-dollars a year. If signed, the law would go into effect at the start of the 2026-27 academic year. The state House is considering a similar bill for public school students.
