(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota House wants to incentivize oil and gas production in uncommon areas. Lawmakers passed a bill that provides tax exemptions for the first 300-thousand barrels of oil produced from a development incentive well or any natural gas produced during enhanced oil recovery processes. If signed into law, the exemption would apply to projects approved by the North Dakota Industrial Commission after June 30th.
