Sioux Falls Deadly Stabbing Suspect Appears In Court

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man suspected of a deadly stabbing in Sioux Falls last Friday is having his day in court. Kaleb Martin is facing charges of second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter. Police identified Virgil Hawk Wing from Sioux Falls as the victim who died Friday morning after being stabbed during an altercation. It happened at an apartment complex near 43rd Street and South Larch Avenue. Police arrested the 25-year-old Martin, who’s from Alliance, Nebraska, shortly after. Authorities say they believe the two men knew each other. On Monday, a judge set Martin’s bond at one-million dollars cash only. The same apartment complex had a separate homicide back on April 4th.
