Governor Armstrong Signs Cellphone-Free Schools Bill

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota students will have limited access to cell phones during school. Governor Kelly Armstrong signed the “Bell to Bell” phone-free policy that requires all kindergarten through 12th-grade public schools to create a phone-free program. Schools will have flexibility with policies they create, with exceptions for emergencies and individual education students. The law goes into effect on August 1st next year.
