(Undated) — Over 100-million Americans could be getting a fresh blanket of snow before the weekend. Forecasters say two back-to-back storms will spread at least three inches of snow across some 18 states from Wyoming to New York today and tomorrow. Travelers should be ready for delays at airports and on highways. The second part of the storm will dump more snow on parts of the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Up to six inches of snow could pile up in some areas, with over a foot of snow possible in the higher elevations. The storms will be followed by a new blast of Arctic cold, stretching from Minnesota to the Deep South.
